DIY – Puffy Paper Hearts

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and I did a cute little canvas with puffy hearts for my hubby Today I want to share with you how you can easily create your own paper puffy hearts.

Supplies:

• paper (e.g. bookpages, thin paper)
• scissors
• glue
• cotton

First you need to cut out your heart shape. Take two papers and fold them in half. You just need to cut half of a heart shape. This is the easiest way to make sure your heart is nicely shaped.

Next you need to glue your heart shapes together, adding glue only to the edge of the paper. Make sure you leave an opening so you can add the cotton. Fill your heart with cotton until you are happy with the puffiness

Et voilá, you’ve got a puffy heart I added some spray paint in raw umber to give it a vintage feel.

Last but not least you can add embellishments like stickers. Isn’t this fun???
