Saturday’s Art Journaling – 02.09.13
Happy Saturday my friends. This has been a pretty lazy day. I’ve been eating rice all day because my hands and feet are always swollen
and I am preparing stuff for my brand new Etsy store which will open soon
So this week’s page started out with a bunch of stencils and home made spray paints. Well I didn’t really like it so I added drippage and some more paint. Still not happy! Then I added some self-carved stamps and washi tape. This made me happy. See sometimes it just helps to add layers to get to your desired result. If that doesn’t work just leave the page for a few days and come back later.
Watch this week’s video!

ohh i love it. i keep forgetting to use alpha stickers as masks. and i totally agree that leaving a page alone for a couple of days and then combing back to it can do wonders.
your page is awesome. love the cheerful colors.
I really enjoyed having a look at your page. Self-carved stamps? I am impressed! Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Lots of wonderful colour on your journal spread, terrific pages. Happy PPF, Annette G x
This is awesome! The layers are all so inspiring, and I love how the colors are so bright without being muddy. That is always my favorite kind of page. It’s beautiful. <3
there is something about adding black & white to all those vibrant colors that I find so striking…beautiful pages!
Gorgeous pages, the stencils and colors are so beautiful! HPPF!
such color & fun. i enjoyed watching your process, and how you took something from one art direction into another. well done!
really awesome video! i loved watching the process :]
Wow very bright and expressive. Thanks for sharing at Artists in Blogland!
love all the bright colours..happy playful page
